Khea defended La Joaqui’s foray into trap music.

Joaqui faced harsh criticism for her latest release, in which she ventured into the trap genre. She responded immediately to the critics and recently received support from Khea, with whom she recently released a collaboration. “I think people speak out these days because they have the opportunity to freely express their opinions,” the singer said.

“I was twelve years old and watched videos of La Joaqui rapping, even though I wasn’t rapping myself yet. That’s a fact, and no one can erase her story, even if she later chose a different genre of music,” he said about the artist’s beginnings in urban music. Regarding her current musical direction, he added: “She also demonstrates versatility: she can rap, dance RKT, or mambo, just like we did back then.”

“What is most admirable is how far she has come. Her current position speaks for itself,” Khea said, praising his colleague and the career she has built by becoming one of RKT’s national icons.

La Joaqui defends herself against criticism of her musical style.
La Joaqui recently released the song “Mi señora” together with Duki and Khea. The track garnered attention on social media and streaming platforms, but also drew criticism from trap purists.

So the woman from Mar del Plata could no longer remain silent and decided to respond to the critics of the collaboration between the two trap artists and the RKT representative.

“I want to tell all those kids who are still drinking Cindor and still have trouble banging their heads against eggshells that the first trap song registered in Argentina by a woman is mine,” she said energetically, earning applause from her fellow streamers.

“I don’t mean to brag, and I don’t think I’m better than anyone else, but I would appreciate it if people did their research before insulting me,” he added. He then explained his decision to distance himself from the genre: “I didn’t leave trap because I disliked it or didn’t want to, but because I went through emotional crises where I needed to shut out that world to process certain feelings.”

“That doesn’t mean I’m any less of a street kid than anyone else. I’ve been going to the market square since I was ten years old and drinking carton wine mixed with seaweed juice. Even though I’m a pretty woman now, things have changed over time; you grow up,” Luck Ra’s girlfriend concluded.
