Minecraft (mobile and cross-platform): Survival tricks that few know

Minecraft is one of the most popular and versatile games, whether on mobile devices, PCs, or consoles. But survival and success aren’t always easy, especially for beginners. That’s why we’re giving you practical survival tips today to help you progress faster and experience every adventure to the fullest.

Time-saving crafting tips
Effective use of the workbench is essential. For example, to make simple tools, arrange the materials in a T-shape to save steps. In creative mode, you can practice with templates and learn faster.

I built simple traps using redstone. Traps not only help defend against monsters, but also automatically collect resources. With a simple redstone mechanism, monsters can be dropped into pits or dispensers can be activated with arrows to protect the base.

Discover rare villages and biomes
In Creative mode, you can use maps and commands to discover villages and biomes. In Survival mode, you explore rivers and oceans to find special villages and biomes like deserts or jungles that offer unique resources.

Use boats to avoid fall damage. Boats are excellent for fast travel across water and can also save you from falls if you jump off just before impact. This is a useful trick for exploring mountains or cliffs without losing health.

Equip yourself with a shield for your explorations. A shield protects you from attacks by monsters like skeletons and raiders. Always carry one with you, especially when exploring caves or fighting bosses.

Place beds to avoid distant respawn points. Placing a bed near your base or in a safe location is crucial to prevent losing your game progress. If you die, you’ll respawn there rather than at the starting point on the map, saving you travel time.
